Valves move when an electro-magnet gets current from the Master Control. The valves stay at the position because valve springs are removed.

Data input from sensors is added to the digital file for processing. A computing system is a clock that calculates rpm.
Is electronic operation similar to mechanical process?
The electronic process is the same as the mechanical process. It is dedicated to create power for a limited period then it changes to occasional power pulses. Spinning a configuration is an identical method because there is no reason to be different. Nothing is a mystery about this electronic system.
